The scope:

The Bompodi Village is situated just outside Theunissen in the Free State and carries out the training and development services for the Beatrix Gold Mine. Pumalo Africa would provide an experiential learning workshop on facilitation techniques.

The Pumalo approach:

After some consultation with the staff of the Bompodi Village, Pumalo Africa designed and delivered a two day experiential learning intervention.

The outcomes:

The intervention proved quite successful with the entire training and facilitation team opting to adopt much of the Pumalo facilitation technique.

The Bompodi team chose to invest in an experiential learning activities toolkit, designed and developed by Pumalo Africa.

The experiential learning toolkit and facilitation methodologies developed by the Pumalo Africa team have been embraced as a backbone of the team development processes presented at the Bompodi Training Campus.
