We have developed and implemented industrial theatre and experiential learning products, some created specifically for clients in the mining industry.
The success of a train-the-trainer intervention to expose and equip the facilitators of the Beatrix Business Leadership Development Campus led to the purchase and implementing of the Pumalo experiential learning toolkit and facilitation techniques for their team development programs.
A number of strategically aligned pieces of industrial theatre have been developed for the second largest gold miner's group mobilization interventions. The first piece was implemented in March 2006 for the KLOOF Division training campus. The industrial theatre piece forms the starting point of the team (frontline) development programs and a primary focus point for many of the succeeding interventions in the training environment.
The second piece of theatre for the group's context was implemented later that year at the BEATRIX Division campus. Entitled Lechabile it is aligned to the strategic intent of the BEATRIX environment.
The third piece was developed for the DRIEFONTEIN Division campus and entitled DUMELA. These industrial theatre pieces have been continuously developed keeping them aligned to the growth and changes of the company. It has become a sustainable multi-year partnership with the learning and development function of the company.
